Hey! I’m Matt, a Sound Designer specializing in game development with 10 years of experience in professional audio settings. I’m currently based in the mountains of Virginia, working independently on game and music projects.

My journey into all things audio began with eager ears and a mad scientist drive - mangling electric guitars to explore new sonic territory and tinkering with any audio software I could get my hands on. I was lucky enough to attend The Savannah College of Art & Design to study Sound Design, spent the following decade working closely with audio outsourcing companies like Wabi Sabi Sound and Interleave Audio to further develop my craft.

In addition to designing audio and implementing it, I enjoy fostering environments that promote clear and fair feedback, participating in cross-discipline collaboration, composing original music, getting out into the world for field recording, keeping projects organized with solid documentation, and learning new tools as the ever-changing field of game development evolves.

I pride myself on crafting deeply integrated audio systems that reward players with crystal clear feedback and help support the narrative by enriching the experience through the language of sound. Comfortable with most modern game engines, DAWs, middleware, and source control applications, I never shy away from a creative or technical challenge.
